Sales Designer (Part-Time)
We have an exciting opportunity for a designer or architect to work with high-end clients on modern residential interiors. This is a hybrid position with two days in studio per week, remotely and flexible otherwise. Above-market hourly compensation for qualified candidates and a generous commission on sales.
Position Summary
An Interior Designer or Architect who guides clients through the showroom and presents products and design ideas that result in project sales. Projects include kitchens, closets, bathrooms, living room, home offices and any modern interior space with exciting custom casework applications.
Growth opportunity for talent who wants to sell and design high-end, architectural interior projects using the finest and best modern resources around.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with clients on their residential design and casework needs
- Quick sketch and present ideas by hand or modeling software of choice
- Advise client on casework options, finishes and related products
- Estimate, present and close the sale (retain the client for the work)
- Complete proposals and involve colleagues through successful project delivery
Requirements
- BA in Design or Architecture required
- Direct client-facing or sales experience preferred
- SketchUp or similar design software experience needed, AutoCAD a plus
